Virl L. Hedrick

Virl L. Hedrick, 76 of Streator passed away Wednesday morning (May 25^th) at Heritage Health and Senior Care, Streator.

Virl was born June 2, 1939 in Streator to Ellis G. “Ed” and Alma (Mitchell) Hedrick.

He attended Streator Schools and worked at the former Anthony Co.  Virl enjoyed traveling.

Virl is survived by sisters Genevieve Haynes and Avis (Jim) Harcharick both of Streator and Nita Hedrick of W. Linn, OR and a brother, Howard (Sharon) Hedrick of Streator, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sisters, Inez Heusel, Carol Thomas and Wilma in infancy, brothers Glen and Larry Hedrick, brothers-in-law John Heusel, James “Jim” Haynes and Jack Thomas and nephews Tommie and Jimmy Haynes.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.  Following cremation there will be a family burial at a later date in the Riverview Cemetery.

The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
