Troy L. Swartz

Troy L. Swartz, 46 of Streator passed away peacefully Friday evening (August 31^st) at his home.

Following cremation a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday (Sept. 22^nd) starting at 1 PM at Marilla Park, Streator.

The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Troy was born on April 6, 1972 in Streator to Donald and Karen (Bardwell) Swartz.

He is survived by a daughter Heather Swartz of Springfield, 3 grandchildren Aria, Trace and Josh, his parents Karen and Dave McMullen of Streator, sisters Cherral (Marcus) Donaldson of Streator, Joanna Garcia of Streator and Samantha McMullen of Streator, 2 nieces, Sierra and Shyan, his beloved hospice nurse of 2 years Lisa Sartin and his “Wifey” Maryann Leonard.

Troy is preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents Lloyd and Gertrude Stevens and paternal grandparents William and Rachel Swartz.

He attended Streator Grade Schools and Streator High School.
