   Thomas J. Moore, 78 of Bloomington, IL formerly of Streator passed away Friday evening (Jan. 14th) at his home with his family at his side.
   A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 2PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home in Streator followed by a visitation from 2:30 - 4:30PM. Cremation rites will follow services. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Lostant at a later date.
   Tom was born May 18, 1932 in Streator to Thomas S. and Eleanora (Lechner) Moore. He married Lucy Bayler on June 6, 1953 at St. Anthony Church, Streator, she survives.
   Also surviving are son Thomas R. (Jennifer) Moore of Bloomington, daughter Yvonne Fisch of Dixon, sons Timothy D. (Lori) Moore of Bloomington, Scott A. (Lona) Moore of Bettendorf, IA , 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a sister Edna Mae (Howard) Troupa of Mesa, AZ.
   He is preceded in death by a sister, Irene and grandson Thomas Lawrence Moore.
   Tom farmed until his retirement, raising his children on the farm. The high lights of his life were his children and grandchildren and spending winters in Arizona. He loved the mountains and enjoyed spending time with family and friends there. He was Treasure of the Lostant Fire District for several years and was a 4th degree member of the Streator Knights of Columbus.
   The family wants to thank Dr. Kumar and his staff for the fine care they gave him and the staff on 3rd floor at St. Joseph's Hospital.
   It gives the family great comfort trusting that he is now sharing old memories with Fr. Buttgen and Fr. Thua.
