Suzann Carpenter

Suzann Carpenter, 73 of Streator passed away Wednesday evening (November 22, 2023) at Flanagan Rehabilitation & Health Care.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Suzann was born on June 15, 1950, in Streator to Harold and Sadie (Turner) Carpenter.

Surviving is, children Leann (Thomas) Augustine of Streator, Robert (Angela) Carpenter of Streator, Jamie (Robert) Halleland, Florida and Heather Smith of Maryland, 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren, siblings, Richard (Rita) Carpenter of Streator, Leatha Vaccaro of Jupiter, Florida, Joseph Carpenter of Peru and Tim Carpenter of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by parents, husband Michael Land, great granddaughter Emma Welch, brother Ronald Carpenter, and son in law Douglas Hamilton Sr.

Suzann attended Streator grade schools and Streator High School.  She was a waitress and several restaurants and at Captain Jacks

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
