Steve R. HIll

Steve R. Hill, 83 of Streator passed away Wednesday (November 4, 2026) at his home.

A visitation will be held Sunday from 11AM until 1PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1PM at the funeral home with burial following in the Riverview Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be his sons, Ed and Bob, grandsons Michael, Brenton and Corey Hill and Kevin Hall.

Steve was born on August 27, 1943, in Streator to Steven and Frances (Dullar) Hill. He married Sandra Vissering on November 23, 1963. She survives.

Also surviving are sons, Edward E. Hill of Streator, Robert W. (Pamela) Hill of Streator, daughter, Shari D. Hill of Streator, grandchildren, Brylee, Michael (Jennifer), Brenton S. and Corey A. Hill, Kara (Kevin) Hall and Alysa Fulkerson and 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Missel, half-brothers, Jerry and Kenny Jaegle.

Steve attended Streator Grade Schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1962. He retired from Hennepin Steel Mill after 40 years. Steve was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
