Stephanie M. Bockelman, 35 of Plattsmouth, NE and formerly of Streator passed away Tuesday (August 4th) at the Bellevue Medical Center, Bellevue, NE.
A visitation will be held Sunday from 3 – 5 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday at 5 PM at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow services.
Stephanie was born on November 4, 1979 in Streator to Anthony and Nancy (Vickers) Bockelman Sr.
Surviving is a daughter, Alissa Bockelman,partner in life Cory Fochtman and his daughter Kenzie, father, Anthony Bockelman Sr. of Long Point, mother, Nancy (Dane) Harrison of Streator, brother, Anthony Bockelman Jr. of Eagle River, AK, sisters, Rugna Bockelman of Streator and Taylor Bockelman of Long Point, maternal grandparents, Gordon and Sharon Davis of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a sister Tiffanie Bockelman, maternal grandfather, Joseph Vickers, a niece Hailey and paternal grandparents.
Stephanie graduated from Streator High School in 1997 and IVCC Nursing School in 2009.
She was a RN at the Division of Veterans Home in Bellevue, NE.
Stephanie enjoyed being a mother and traveling with her daughter and family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her daughter Alissa’s educational fund.
