Sean J. Garrabrant

Sean J. Garrabrant, 38 of Streator passed away Monday morning (February 24, 2020) at OSF Center for Health, Streator.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4 -6PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Cremation rites will follow the visitation.

Sean was born on January 18, 1982 in Streator to William and Margaret (Siversen) Garrabrant.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret (Wayne Durham) Minkler of Streator, brother, Damon Garrabrant of Joliet, sisters, Marissa Minkler, Kayla Ferris and Kjersten Minkler all of Streator, step-father, Rodney (Tammy Anderson) Minkler of Streator, God Father, Jeffrey Jackson of New Jersey, uncle and hero, Thomas Kenavan of Stafford, Virginia, numerous nieces and nephews in Streator and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in New Jersey.

He is preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents, William Garrabrant and Marge Launsbury maternal grandparents, Margaret and Gary Newborn and uncle, Charles Siversen.

Sean attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 2000.  He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and had a gift of making people laugh.  He loved playing his guitar and all types of music.
