Sandra ("Muffy" E. Overocker

Sandra “Muffy†E. Overocker, 76 of Streator passed away Saturday afternoon (June 27th) at her home.
A visitation will be held Wednesday from 11 – 1 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be family members.
Muffy was born on February 3, 1939 in Streator to Herbert and Sabina (Hall) Overocker.
Surviving is her sister Priscilla Amell , brothers Cliff (Kim) Overocker and Rick (Kay) Overocker all of Streator, sisters-in-law, Barb Overocker and Theresa Overocker both of Streator and Josie Overocker of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Art, Arnold, Dave and Tom, sisters Judy Madara and Beverly Willis.
Muffy was a child care provider for many years, and was employed at the former Motorola in Pontiac and Wallpaper factory in Streator. She attended Streator Grade Schools and High School. She enjoyed playing softball for over 20 yrs and bowling for many yrs and the monthly family dinner and playing a game of cards.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors’ choice.
