Sally A. Vogel

Sally Ann Vogel, 76 of Streator passed away Wednesday (April 22, 2026) at her home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Friday (May 1st) from 10AM until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Services will follow at 12noon with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sally was born on August 31, 1949, in Streator to Lloyd and Lorraine (Hjerpe) Gaefcke. She married Terry Vogel on August 28, 1971. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2003.

Surviving are; brother Dan (Pam) Gaefcke of Springfield, sisters, Sharon Ligori of Streator and Anna (Gary) Gernentz of Normal, niece Connie Cimei of Magnolia whom Sally and Terry helped raise and several other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Terry and a niece Chrissy Vogel, brother-in-law Jim Ligori.

Sally graduated from Streator High School in 1968. She was formerly employed at US Foods, Carraige House and lastly at Reading Township as clerk. Sally was a member of the Marshall County Sportsman Club for many years.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
