Ronald D. Eutsey, Sr.

Ronald D. Eutsey, Sr. 61, of Streator passed away Saturday (March 22) at OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dion DePaz, Gary Wind, Steve Mainor, John Holocker, Jr., Daniel Holocker and Eric Phillips.  Pallbearers will be Dalton Eutsey, Dylan DePaz, Jacob Mainor, Craig Handzo, Bruce North and Kenneth Eutsey, Jr.
Ron was born May 2, 1952 in Streator, Illinois to Dale and Marcella (Morrell) Eutsey.
He married Mona Melrose on September 8, 1972.  She survives.
Also surviving is his mother, Marcella Bell of Streator, daughter, Angela (Steven) Mainor of Streator and son, Corey (Laura) Eutsey of Streator, brothers, Ken Eutsey of Long Point, and Jack (Mary) Eutsey of Wisconsin and sisters, Cheryl Eutsey and Joyce (Rick) Majernik both of Streator, 5 grandchildren, Jacob Mainor, Marissa (Eutsey Rascicot, Dalton, Alexia and Alyssa Eutsey and 1 great-granddaughter, Angelina Mainor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Eutsey, son, Ronald Dale Eutsey, Jr. and grandsons, Nicolas and Alex Mainor.
Ron attended Streator schools and served in the U.S. Marines from 1970-1974 serving as a helicopter mechanic.  He was later employed at Blackhorse Trucking in Dwight.
