Robert E. Rogers, 65 of Streator passed away Saturday evening (Jun. 7th) at Parker Nursing Home.
Following cremation, a visitation will be held Thursday from 4 – 6PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 6PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Bob was born on June 28, 1948 in Streator to Charles and Katherine (Eichelberger) Rogers.
Surviving are, son John E. Rogers of Streator, step-daughter Kim (Jay) Smith of Streator,step-son Marion Jones Jr. of Streator, sisters, Bonnie Finney of Streator, Katherine York of Jamestown, TN, Viola (Ralph) Scott of Parker, IL, brothers, William Rogers Sr., Richard Rogers, David Rogers, and Joseph Rogers all of Streator, and seven grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Rogers Jr. and a sister Isabel Dike.
Bob was formerly affiliated with the Streator Salvation Army and graduated from Streator Grade School and High School.
Memorials may be made to the family of Robert Rogers.
