Richard P. Durdan

Richard P. Durdan, 87 of rural Streator passed away Tuesday (November 30, 2021) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Private family services will be held at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Richard was born on February 14, 1934 in Streator to Peter and Mary (Anthe) Durdan. He married Leila Ashlock on June 18, 1955. She preceded him in death on April 24, 2019.
Surviving are sons, Larry (Connie) Durdan of Streator, Dale (Sharon) Durdan of Streator, Ray (Kelly) Durdan of Sterling, Troy (Stephanie) Durdan of Streator, Brian (Terri) Durdan of Streator and Doug (Andrea) Durdan of Streator, 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Debbie Durdan and brother Tom Durdan.
Richard attended the Wolf Creek grade school and Streator High School. He retired from farming where he had lived his whole life. Richard enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards, playing pool and watching the Chicago Cubs play.
Memorials may be made to the Wolf Creek Cemetery Association.
