Ray "Bill" W. Barickman

Ray “Bill” W. Barickman Jr., 87 of Long Point passed away Wednesday morning (September 24, 2025) at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Peru.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Bill was born on August 26, 1938, in Windom, MN to Ray W. and Doris (Reeve) Barickman Sr. He married Carole Moye on October 10, 1958. She survives.

Also survives are William P. Barickman of Muscatine, Iowa, Kathleen Mounce of Cornell, Patricia S. Hays of Long Point and Daniel Ray (Rhonda) Barickman of Ancona, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, son in laws, Jim McMenamin and Rody Hays, daughter in law Dede Barickman, grandson Damian McMenamin, a great grandchild and his brother Benjamin Bert Barickman.

Bill graduated from Woodland School in 1956. He retired as a truck driver and a gentleman farmer. Bill was a member of the Long Point United Methodist Church and enjoyed working on 2 cycle tractors.

Memorials may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.

The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
