Passed away Saturday (Nov. 22nd) at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria
Following cremation, there will be no services, Winterrowd Funeral Home in charge of arrangements

He is survived by his mother, Patricia A. Thomas

Niece and Nephew, Megan and Johnny

He graduated from Streator High School in 1975 and from Western State University in 1979
He ran Peter's Pet Emporium north of Streator
for 28 yrs
He loved nature-animals, plants, astronomy-Japanese anime', science fiction,
fantasy, computers, photography, learning
(words, geography, science, everything) and living.
He gardened and also grew orchids and other house
plants. He wrote fiction and computer games.
He won an honorable mention on
the first short story he submitted to Writer's Digest, and was nearly finished
writing 5 novels (fantasy, science fiction).
He was kind, gentle, loving, funny, patient and strong. He used all of these
attributes to help him hold out against kidney cancer for almost a year.
