Patty Kolojay

Patricia Ann Kolojay, 61 of Streator passed away Monday (July 20, 2026) at her home.

A visitation will be held Sunday (July 26th) from 12noon until 2PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with a Time of Remembrance at 2PM. Private family burial will be in the Emery Green Cemetery.

Patty was born on July 23, 1964, in Bradford, IL to James and Audrey (Keithover) Hawkins. She married Donald Kolojay on May 27, 1987. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2024.

Surviving are, children, Jerry Kolojay of Colorado, Sandi Kolojay-Crawley of Henry, Stephanie Hawkins-Doane of Streator and Joe (Jaime) Kolojay of Morris, 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters, Mary Maltas of Rock Island and Sue Hammrick of Galesburg and her beloved dog, Blazer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, great granddaughter Amara, brother Rich and sister Ruth.

Patty attended Deer Park Grade School and Ottawa High School. She enjoyed doing yard work, taking care of her animals and spending time with her family.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, any Veterans Organization or to a local animal shelter.
