Marye Jo Vargas

Marye Jo Vargas, 48 of Streator passed away Wednesday (June 1, 2022) at her home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Tuesday (June 7^th) from 10 am until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with funeral services following.

Marye Jo was born on November 26, 1973, in Streator to Joseph and Virginia (Smith) Vargas.

Surviving are children, Lacie (Charles) Eggers of Ottawa, Derek (Alyssa) Vargas of St. Louis, MO, Myriah Gonzalez Perez of Aurora, Gabriella Gonzalez of Aurora and Dylan Vargas of Streator, 7 grandchildren and 1 due in August, brother Michael Vargas of Streator.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Joe, aunt Lupe Vargas and uncles Don Hjerpe and Bob Smith.

Marye Jo attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1991.  She was employed as a waitress.
