Mary Hoskins

Mary Hoskins, 94, of Streator entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on November 3, 2018 at Heritage Health-Streator where she was in hospice care.

She was born in Livingston County to the late Dennis and Esther (Stevens) Hamilton on December 11, 1923.  She worked with her husband in the office of Hoskins & Sons Coal Co. and later retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Co.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Walter Hoskins in 1990, brothers Walter and Edgar Hamilton and sisters, Hazel Garner, Pearl Phillips, and Della Bales.

Mary will be missed by her surviving family which includes, her son Harvey Hoskins, her daughters Donna Reynolds and Debbie (Jim) Marshall, her brother Clarence “Bill” Hamilton, and grandchildren Allison (Jon) Neely, Paul Marshall, and Jeffrey Marshall.

A private service is planned with interment in Riverview Cemetery.
