Marilyn E. Kettman

Marilyn E. Kettman, 85 of Streator passed away Friday evening (February 6, 2026) at the LaSalle County Nursing Home.

Private family services will be held with burial in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Marilyn was born on May 18, 1940, in Streator to Chalmers and Naomi (Eden) Turner. She married Ronald Kettman on April 4, 1959. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2022.

Surviving are daughters, Cheri (Bill) Schmitt of Streator and Cindy Kettman of Streator, grandchildren, Wes (Chelsea) Hood, Abbie (Derek) Eiten, Chloe (Steve) Keller, Christian and Caleb Kettman, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters, Linda (Mike) Hawkins of Streator and Mary Lou Casey of Flanagan and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ron, son Craig and brother Wayne Turner.

Marilyn graduated from Streator High School in 1958. She was formerly employed at Owens Illinois Glass, Oogie’s and Burger King. Marilyn was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and was a volunteer at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
