To the Family,
I did not know Madge well, but knew her through her friendship with Jane Hart and Fannie Moritz. She was always a very sweet lady whenever I saw her. I'm now living near Kansas City and I regret that I because of the distance was unable to pay my respects to the family in person. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the process of adaption to life without her.
