Lorraine Metzke

Lorraine Metzke, 81 of Long Point passed away Tuesday morning (July 7th) at her home.
A visitation will be held Friday from 4 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Jake Missel and Cody Donnelly, nephews Jack Graham Jr., Chris, Jeremy and Brian Sherman.
Lorraine was born November 10, 1933 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Alva and Ruth (Powell) Graham.
She married John R. Metzke on May 4, 1949. He passed away on June 8, 2007.
Surviving are daughters Kathy (Dean) Missel of Streator, Karen (Ritch) Donnelly of Tonica and Tina Metzke of Peru, grandchildren Jake Missel, Cody and Cassidy Donnelly and a brother James (Charlotte) Sherman of Salem, IN.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert Sherman, David and Jack Graham and a nephew Bobby Graham.
Lorraine attended Long Point Grade School and High School. She retired from St. Mary’s Hospital and was a member of the Long Point United Methodist Church and an avid quilter.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors‘ choice.
