Kevin Lee Yuhas

Kevin L. Yuhas, 56 of Streator passed away Friday morning (November 10, 2023) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Private family services will be held at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with burial in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.

Kevin was born on November 20, 1966, in Streator to Louis and Maxine (McClure) Yuhas.

Surviving is, sister Debbie Tombaugh of Manville, brothers, Larry (Kathy) Yuhas of Streator and Ken (Erin) Yuhas of Streator, niece, Angie (Tom) Morgan of Streator, nephews, Adam (Janeen) Yuhas of Streator and Brian (Annalise) Yuhas of Chicago, great nieces Raegan and Ayla Morgan and great nephew Hunter Yuhas, long time neighbor and friend Jane Almeda and his beloved cat Marby.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Kevin attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1985.  He was formerly employed at the Streator Police Department as a dispatcher for 20 years and received an Outstanding Dispatcher award.  Kevin was a former member of the Streator Moose Lodge, and he enjoyed cooking and sitting by campfires.
