Kevin Bryant Dille

Kevin B Dille, beloved partner, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Loyola Hospital on August 5, 2024. 

His partner of 31 years, Kelly Katrein, and their children, Tiffany (Ali Ibraimi) Dille, Jesse Dille, Ashton Dille, Kerrigan and Amber Katrein, will forever cherish his memory. Kevin & Kelly shared an adopted grandson Xavier Damien Dille-Katrein. Kevin was a proud grandfather to Liam Nelson, Arya Dille, Mia Dille, and Noah Cowan, and loving sisters to Janet (Joel) Dewey & Karen (Jeremy Hamalle) Dille.

Kevin was a lifelong farmer and had a passion for working on computers and vehicles, often spending hours tinkering and fixing things. His goofy, silly & sarcastic personality brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He also shared a special bond with his loyal dog, Tippy. 

Kevin was a double lung transplant recipient.  He fought to be healthy to the very end of his life. Kevin's legacy of love, humor, and dedication to his family and hobbies will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dale & Suzanne (Graham) Dille also his two brothers Bryan A & Robert J Dille. 

Kevin’s visitation is Sunday (September 1st) at the Grand Ridge Funeral Home from noon to 2:00 pm. His celebration of life begins at 3:00 pm at Painters Local 465 1001 Boyce Memorial Drive Ottawa, IL and ends at further notice.

Kevin requested that casual clothes be worn to his time of remembrance and celebration of life.
