Katherine M. Beutke

Katherine “Katy” Beutke 90, of Long Point, passed away Wednesday (Nov. 6th) at the Good Samaritan Home in Flanagan.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-8PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery.  Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Mitchell and Spencer Meenen, Noah Galusha and Justin Pitte.  Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brian and Brad Ruff and grandsons-in-law, Jason Pitte and Brandon McCleave.
Katie was born on May 8, 1923 in Long Point, IL to Noah and Leonore (Saemish) Stokes.
She married Wallace “Wally” Beutke on February 18, 1943.  He passed away June 15, 1991.
Surviving are daughters, Judith Ruff of Gibson City and Mary Ann (Lyle) Folkerts of Long Point, 7 grandchildren, Kimberly (Steve) Meenen, Jill Galusha, Brian (Jodie) and Brad (Renee) Ruff, Michelle (Jason) Pitte, Leann Folkerts, and Melissa (Brandon) McCleave, 11 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Gordon (Betty) Beutke of West Chicago, and sister-in-law, Wilma Beutke of Long Point.  
She was preceded in death by her husband and sister, Wanneta Christopher.
Katy graduated from Long Point High School in 1941.
She was a member of the Long Point Christian Church and also a Sunday school teacher for many years.  Katy was a member of the Fort Nightly Bridge Club and a 4-H Leader.  
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Long Point Christian Church.
