Joyce Lynn (Eustey) Majernik

Joyce Lynn (Eutsey) Majernik, 67 of Streator passed away Monday morning (October 31, 2022) at her home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Saturday (Nov. 12^th) from 10 am until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Services will be held at noon at the funeral home with burial to following in the Phillips Cemetery.

Joyce was born on September 8, 1955, in Streator to Dale and Marcella (Morrall) Eutsey.  She married Richard J. Majernik on March 7, 2003.  He survives.

Also surviving are children, Lannette (Darren Hyser) Austin of Rockford, John W. (Jeanne Coop) Holocker Jr, of Streator, Shannon (Toby Benstine) Sandberg of Streator, Daniel L. (Tammy Hart) Holocker of Streator, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, a sister Cheryl Eutsey of Streator, several nieces and nephews, cousins near and far, uncles, Norman Morrall, Lester (Iva) Morrall, John Morrall, aunt, Marge (David) Halgquist.

She is preceded in death by her father Dale, her mother Marcella Bell, brothers Kenneth, Ronald, and Jack Eutsey.

Joyce attended Streator grade schools and Streator High School. She operated Joyce’s Upholstery and Refinishing.  Joyce enjoyed camping, 4 wheeling, gardening, and going out fishing at Sandyford Sportsman Club.
