Jonny L. (Melrose) Schlicker, 76 of Pontiac passed away Friday (August 9, 2019) at St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington

Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 12 noon at the funeral home.  Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.

Jonny was born on January 12, 1943 in Streator to Leonard and Loretta (Bailey) Melrose.  She married Dan Schlicker on May 6, 1978.  He survives.

Also surviving are sons Daniel, Timothy, Scott and Lorin Goralczyk all of Streator, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, brothers Don (Lauren), Spencer, Terry and Dale (Sue) Melrose all of Streator, sisters, Sandy (Glen) Baker of Streator, Carol (David) Antolik of Pontiac and Virginia Phillips of Cullom, brothers-in-law, Kevin Vidergar of Streator and Ken North of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Kristopher Goralczyk, sisters Gloria North, Christine Vidergar and Mona Eutsey.

Jonny attended Streator grade schools and Streator High School.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, jewelry making and spending time with family and friends.

Memorials may be made in her name to either, Gift of Hope, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or American Kidney Foundation.
