* Very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I've known Jack since my childhood as he was very close to my father Sody. I can certainly attest to Jack being "one of a kind". Jack will be missed but NEVER forgotten. May God Bless you all...

To the family of our friend and co-worker at The Times, we send our prayers to you! Jack will be missed. He was a cut-up but good at what he did. We loved his quirks. He could make you laugh when sometimes you didn't want to. He was always telling us stories from the old days in Streator, they kept you remembering how it used to be. A great BIG hug to Martha and the rest. I know it is from afar but hope it helps just a bit. We live in Montana now but are with you all in spirit!
