Jean E. Ferguson-Johnson

Jean Koenig (Ferguson) Johnson, 92 of Streator passed away Thursday (April 17, 2014) At Heritage Health in Streator.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 9-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. Rory Christensen from Central Church of Christ officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Ferguson and Robert Ferguson.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Thomas Pavlick, James Pavlick, Kirk Pavlick, Josh Ferguson and great-grandsons, Dave and Tony Harcharik.
Jean was born September 27, 1921 in Streator to Andrew and Margaret (Johnstone) Koenig.
She married James Ferguson in June of 1938.  He passed away November 30, 1988.  They were married for 50 years.
She later married Richard Johnson in 1999 of Ottawa.  He passed away on October 22, 2006.
Surviving are sons, Richard (Ann Louise) Ferguson of Minocqua, WI and Ronald (Sharon) Ferguson of Streator, daughters, Judith Ferguson of FL, Jill Pavlick, and Janis (Dale) Ott both of Streator, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband James Ferguson, her 2nd husband, Richard Johnson, son, Robert Ferguson, sister, Margaret Novak, brothers, George and Earl Koening.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Streator, she attended Streator grade and high schools and Central Church of Christ.
Memorials may be directed to OSF Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
