Jason S. Hjerpe, 41 of Streator passed away Sunday evening (Feb. 2, 2014th) at his home.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9-11 AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Jason was born on Nov. 8, 1972 in Streator to Phillip and Donna (Laird) Hjerpe.
Surviving are his parents, 3 beautiful children, sister, Christine (Roy) Etienne of Minnesota, paternal grandmother, Mildred Mahaffy of Canyon, TX, aunts, Sue Younker of Streator, Rose Garcia of Bloomington, Mary Gail Seman of Anchorage, Alaska, and Melanie Laird of FL, and uncles Paul Hjerpe of Canyon, TX and Steve (Jackie) Laird of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Hjerpe, maternal grandparents, Scott and Barbara Laird, and five uncles, Jack, Jerry, Chuck, Rick and Ed Hjerpe
He attended Streator grade school, Streator High School and IVCC.
He worked at Oak State in Wenona and was a member of the Streator VFW.
Memorials may be directed to the charity of the Donor’s Choice.
