Janice Marie Promenschenkel

Janice Marie Promenschenkel, 55 of Streator passed away Wednesday evening (July 8th) at the Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet.
Following cremation, a visitation will be held Monday from 10 – Noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
Janice was born on December 15, 1959 in Streator to Theodore F. and Rosemary (Cook) Promenschenkel.
Surviving are, sister, Connie (Russell) Artman of Streator, brothers, David (Betty) Promenschenkel of Tuscon, AZ, Ted (Maribeth) Promenschenkel of Streator, Tim (Mary) Promenschenkel of Crete, Steve (Monica) Promenschenkel of Normal, maternal grandmother, Violet Wirick Cook of Peru, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Theodore and Irene (Palashak) Promenschenkel, maternal grandfather, Lyell Cook, nephew, Keith Promenschenkel and special friend Paul Robertson.
She attended St. Anthony’s Grade School and Streator High School.
Janice enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, rescuing her two cats Honey and Blackie.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors’ choice.
