James R. McDonald, 42 of Streator passed away Saturday (April 11th) in Gurnee.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 5 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Streator..
James was born on December 12, 1972 to James F. and Roberta (Rogers) McDonald in Fort Riley, Kansas.
Surviving are children Lacinda (Brent) Flori of Oglesby, Heather, Madison, Melisa McDonald all of Streator and James and Alex McDonald of Indiana, Parents James and Roberta McDonald of Streator, brothers, Arthur Elliott of Oglesby, Joseph McDonald of Streator and Rodney McDonald of Iowa, 3 grandchildren, Addie, Ella and Hayden.
He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Henry McDonald, Pete and Evelyn Brennan, Maternal Grandparents Robert and Ida Mae Rogers.
James attended Streator Grade Schools and Streator High School and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and served in the US Army in Iraq.
Memorials may be made to the family of James McDonald.
