Jackie Dean Henderson

Jackie D. Henderson, 85 of Streator passed away Friday evening (August 31^st) at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Friday from 11AM – 1PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 1 PM at the funeral home.

Jackie was born on January 25, 1933 in Paxton to Normal Zeal and Lillie Henderson.  He married Joanne Hoover on May 17, 1952.  She survives.

Also surviving are daughters Karen (Jim) Harsh of Normal and Debbie (Joe) Creamean of Hudson, 5 grandchildren, John Clift Jr., Julie (Kyle) Scheuer, Jeremy (Ahila) Creamean, Ashley Jobson and Trevor (Tiffani) Creamean and 9 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Justin Clift, brother Norman Dale Henderson and sisters Mildred Bailey and Doris Jones.

Jackie attended Streator Grade Schools and High School.  He retired from Owens Illinois Glass in 1988.  Jackie enjoyed doing woodworking, boating, flying, motorcycling, fishing and hunting.

Memorials may be made to either Autism Society or to the Livingston County Humane Society.
