Ione D. Johnson Pieper, 68 of Toluca passed away Friday evening (Oct. 14th) at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Bloomington.
Following cremation rites a family service will be held in Willmar, Minnesota with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Willmar, MN. The Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ione was born on July 20, 1943 in Willmar, MN to Christian and Beatrice (Bomstad) Johnson. She married Earl James Pieper on September 20, 1993 he passed away September 1, 2011.
Surviving are daughters Krystal (Moises) Arevalo, Kelly (Jim) Holocker both of Ancona, grandchildren, Leticia (Brad) Boldt, Marcus Arevalo, Heidi (Nick) Daugherity, Jami and James Holocker, great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Keegan Boldt and a blessing from God in December., sister Ila Vossberg, Streator, brothers Camron Johnson, Manteca, CA, Milo (Dorothy) Johnson, Glencoe, MN and a devoted dog and best friend Pepper.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Dorine Johnson.
Ione retired from Anchor Glass Co. and attended Ottawa Township High School.
Memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
