Darrell Gary Wilkerson

Darrell Gary Wilkerson, 70 of Streator passed away Wednesday (February 22, 2023) at the OSF Center for Health, Streator.

A visitation will be held Monday from 4 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with cremation rites following.

Gary was born on August 5, 1952, in Streator to William Darrell and Dorothy (Byer) Wilkerson.  He married Audrey Glowicki on June 14, 1990.  She survives.

Also surviving are, Adam (Holly) Kruger of Streator, Aaron (Kristin) Kruger of Lincoln, Kristopher (Amanda) Wilkerson of Albany, OR and Audrey “Sis” Wilkerson of Graniteville, VT, grandchildren, Lakota, Felicity, Destyn, Johnathan, Anna, Garritt and Levi, sisters Janna (Ted) Trager of Grand Ridge and Judy (Paul) Anderson of Wisconsin, several nieces and nephews and close friends Paul Roach and Tom "Captain Ron” Ringenberg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Kevin and a sister Patty Warren.

Gary attended Streator grade schools and Streator High School.  He was the owner of Wilks Bar.  Gary enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, fishing on the river and going for golf carts rides.
