Gary J. Eustice

Gary J Eustice, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, (January 17th, 2026) surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was born on November 30, 1946, to Merlin and Mildred (Stein) Eustice.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, (Jan.25th) from 2 to 4 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife LuAnn (Cunningham) Eustice of 40 years, son James (Cathy) Eustice of Ottawa and daughter Julie (Ethan) Tevis of Bloomington, Stepdaughter Brooke (Brian) Hutchinson of Georgia, Brother-in-laws Bill (Gloria) Cunningham, Richard (Julie) Cunningham and sister-in-law Mary Beth Cunningham. Also surviving are his grandchildren Sydney, Bryant and Carly Eustice, Kendall Missel, Lily Tevis, Harper, Lucie, Titus and River Hutchinson and nephew Neal (Linda) Znaniecki.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janie (Eustice) Znaniecki, mother and father-in-law Nancy and William Cunningham, brother-in-law John (Jack) Cunningham and several nieces and nephews.

Before retirement Gary was employed at C&H Goodfield, Mitsubishi and Vactor Manufacturing. He also served in the United States Airforce. He was a member of the Sounds of Illinois Barbershop. Gary enjoyed taking his faithful therapy dog Murphy visiting many patients in the Bloomington area.

The family would like to thank OSF Hospice and especially his nurse Ron Talty.
