Frieda Mae Knapp

Frieda M. Knapp, 101 of Minooka and formerly of the Long Point area passed away Thursday evening (May 28th) at the Presence Villa Franciscan Hospice in Joliet.
A visitation will be held Saturday June 6th from 10AM until 12Noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery.
Frieda was born on May 9, 1914 in LaRose, IL to Howard and Emma (Stickel) Maddux. She married Louis Knapp in December of 1943 and he passed away on July 12, 1997.
Surviving is son Michael (Jenny) Knapp of Minooka, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Frieda is preceded in death by 2 brothers George and William Maddux.
She graduated from the Long Point High School and was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans Program.
