Francis "Bo" E. Henkel

Francis “Bo” E. Henkel, 53 formerly of the Long Point/Streator area passed away Saturday (September 17, 2022) at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Chicago.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Bo was born on July 28, 1969, in Des Plains to Gerald and Inez (Jarrett) Henkel.

Surviving is a daughter, Autum Carlson of Orio, IL, son Jerry (Jamie) Henkel of Pontiac, 4 grandchildren, father, Gerald Henkel of Streator, sisters, Marybeth Henkel of Streator and Sheila Kreitzer of Streator and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, daughter Chasity and a brother Larry.

Bo attended Woodland grade school and graduated from Woodland High School in 1987.  He served in the US Navy.  Bo was a born-again Christian.

The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
