Frances Marie Ingram, 104, of Grand Ridge, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at the ARC at Streator.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grand Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Bill Callister of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating.

Frances was born on June 25, 1921, in Princeton to Frank and Mary (Keel) Nienaber. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1939 and married Robert G. Ingram later that year on October 26. He preceded her in death on October 27, 1984.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Roger Harvey of Clearwater, Florida; six grandchildren: Gregory (Jennifer) Harvey, Darren (Kim) Harvey, and Kyle (Michelle) Harvey, all of Florida; Brian (Melissa) Ritter of Streator; Eric Ritter of Normal; and Kristen Ritter (David Eraker) of Waldron, Washington; as well as 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her two daughters, Roberta Sue Harvey and Margaret Ann Ritter; and her brother, Keel Nienaber.

Frances was a familiar face in the community, retiring from her 25-year role as the secretary at Grand Ridge Grade School in 1981. She had a passion for creativity and connection, which she expressed through years of sewing, quilting, knitting, painting, traveling, arts and crafts, and many cherished visits with family and friends.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Streator.

In memory of Frances, memorials may be made to the Grand Ridge Fire Department.
