Eric Lee Vissering

Eric Lee Vissering, 39 of Streator passed away Thursday evening (November 23, 2023) at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held Friday (Dec. 1^st) from 4 – 6 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.

Eric was born on October 20, 1984, in Streator to Glen Mark and Kim (Woolford) Vissering.

Surviving is his daughter Madilyn Vissering of Edinburg, TX, parents, Kim (Craig “Punky”) Darm of Streator, Mark (Gigi) Vissering of Streator, , brother Mark Vissering of W. Virginia, sister Angie Vissering of El Paso, stepbrother Dustin (Sheree) Darm of Streator, maternal grandmother Delores Tuck of Streator and his loving companion Nicole Davis of LaSalle.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Glen and Sally Vissering and step grandfather Howard “Red” Tuck.

Eric attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 2004.  He was employed with Zavada Construction.  Eric enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, camping and just having a good time.
