Eric John Negray

Eric John Negray, 52 of Streator passed away Friday (July 19, 2019) at the OSF Center for Health, Streator.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church with Father Ryan Mattingly officiating.  There will be no visitation.  The Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eric was born on August 26, 1966 in Streator to John and June (Robertson) Negray III.  He married Ramel Beldad Negray on June 1, 2012.  She survives.

Also surviving are sons Jake Lee Negray of Streator and John Lester Shane Negray of Streator, grandchildren Lillianne, Trinity Lynn and Autum Negray,  mother June Negray of Streator, brother Brett Negray of Streator, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, brother Shane, paternal grandparents John J. and Betty Negray, maternal grandparents Lester and Shirley Robertson.

Eric attended Streator Grade Schools and Grand Ridge Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1984.  He served in the US Marines. Eric was a brick mason and was a member of the Brick Layers Allied Craftsman local #6 and the St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
