Emma Pauline Massie, 96 of Streator passed away Monday (January 9, 2023) at Heritage Health, Streator.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM until 1 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac.

Emma was born on August 29, 1926, in Livingston County to Barlow and Marie (Oberholtzer) Gould.  She married Dale Massie on July 3, 1942.  He preceded her in death on May 27, 1995.

Surviving are sons, Donald (Oleta) Massie of Carterville, IL and Ronald (Terry) Massie of Tulsa, OK, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, a grandson Tim Massie, great granddaughter Rayna Massie, brothers Barlow E. and William L. Gould, sisters, Eula Mae Kelly and Deloris Melvin.

Emma attended Cornell grade school and high school.  She retired from Woodland School from the cafeteria.  Emma was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Evergreen Place Activity Fund.
