Elaine R. (Watson) Rogers

Elaine R. Rogers, 85 of of Streator passed away Friday morning (December 10, 2021) at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9AM-11AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Taylor, Robert Rogers, Jr., Nathen (Adam) White, Steven Hill, Richard Day, Ryan Glowicki, Sean Brockman and Nolan Jerde.

Elaine was born on October 22, 1936, in Streator to Arthur and Hazel (Wilson) Watson.
She married Dale Rogers on August 3, 1957. He survives.
Also surviving is a son, Mark (Kathy) Rogers of Rapid City, South Dakota and daughter, Diane (James) Taylor of Streator, 10 grandchildren, Rebbeca Barta, Kelli Hill, Rachel Harlacher, Lainee Day, Mallory Harlacher, James Taylor, Jr., Kayla Cox, Trisha Johnston, Abbigale Taylor and Kylie Taylor, numerous great grandchildren, brother, Arthur (Sandy) Watson of Streator, and sisters, Zelma Caile of Orlando, FL., Francis Enochson of Ottawa, Nikki Holocker of Streator and Nelda Rosado of Lake Placid, FL.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Alan Rogers, Daughter, Margorie Rogers and brothers, Wendell Watson and Bill Watson.
Elaine attended Streator Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1954.
She was formerly employed at Owens Illinois Glass as a selector for 14 years. Elaine is a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Streator and the Cornell Baptist Church.
She loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the family of Elaine Rogers.
