Edward F. Snyder Jr.

Edward F. Snyder Jr. 71 of Streator passed away Saturday morning (September 30, 2023) peacefully in his sleep at his home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 am until 10:45 at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church (former St. Anthony’s Church).  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ed was born on December 18, 1951, in Streator to Edward F. and Irene (Stasko) Snyder.  He married Pamela Myers on October 7, 1977.  She survives.

Also surviving are sons Cory (Megan Pleskovitch) Snyder of Streator and Matthew (Danielle) Moats) Snyder of Streator, granddaughter Arleigh, mother-in-law Cleta Cinnamon of Streator.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ed graduated from St. Stephen’s Grade School in 1966, Streator High School in 1970 and ISU in 1974.  He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and retired from Owens Illinois Glass in 2016.

He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and Fighting Irish football.
