Edith M. (Brewer) Patton

Edith M. Patton, 86 of Streator passed away Friday (January 28, 2022) at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Private family services will be held with burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Edith was born on May 26, 1935, in Peoria to Albert and Zora (Songer) Brewer.  She married Robert G. Patton on March 10, 1956.  He preceded her in death on September 18, 2005.

Surviving is daughter, Diane (Jeff) Harris of Streator, son, Randy (Mary Jane) Patton of Streator, 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, ½ brother Dale Hedger of Oglesby.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Sonny Brewer, ½ brother, Lyle Hedger, ½ sisters, Joan Ahlstrom and Elaine Lanning.

Edith attended North Hampton School in Peoria.  She was a member of the Central Church of Christ and  she retired from Thatcher Glass.

Edith was loved very much by her daughter, son and grandchildren.
