Dorothy Marie Sibert

Dorothy Marie Sibert, 91 of Lakeland, FL and formerly of Streator passed away Thursday (June 1^st) in Lakeland.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday (June 19^th) from 10 – 12 noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be held Monday at noon at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Dorothy was born on October 22, 1925 in Streator to Henry and Lillie (Wehren) Weiss.

She is survived by a daughter Christine Wiest of Lakeland, FL, sons Gary (Janette) Miller of Pekin and Dennis (Debra) Miller of Cedar City, UT, 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, a sister Betty Clevenger of Streator and brother Ralph (Doris) Weiss of Mechanicsburg, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, sons Leroy and Ronald, a sister Ruth Smelcer and brothers Francis, Marland and William Weiss.

She attended St. Anthony’s Grade School and was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
