Diane G. (Thacker) Lutes, 58 of Bloomington and formerly of Streator passed away Tuesday (Feb. 8th) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
A visitation will be held Saturday from 10AM-1PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home in Streator.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1PM at the funeral Home.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Streator. Pallbearers will be Trevis Overocker, Kyle Lincoln, James Wise, Johnathan Hunt, Noah Brotzman, and Doug Walter.
Diane was born on May 27, 1952 in Streator, IL to Lloyd and Glenna (Dunn) Thacker.
She married James Lutes on November 1, 1975. He survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Jamie (James) Wise of Charlotte, NC, Kourtney Lutes of Bloomington, and Ashley (Johnathan) Hunt of Lawrenceville, GA, 4 grandchildren, Ethan, Lainey, and Elliott Wise, and Joselyn Lincoln, father, Lloyd Thacker of Normal, brothers, Eugene (Sandra) Thacker of Ottawa, and William (Karen) Thacker of Bloomington sisters, Sharon (Chris) Calder of Champaign, Cindy (Jeff) Overocker of Urbana, Debbie Brotzman of Bloomington, and Laura (Sam) Stroud of Streator.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shawna Renae Lutes, mother Glenna (Thacker) Close, step-mother, Eva Thacker, brother, Timothy Thacker, and her black lab dog, Scout.
She was a barber, hairstylist, LPN, and RN. She was an RN at Carle Clinic in Bloomington.
She attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School.
Diane was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Bloomington.
Diane was an avid reader of the word of God who loved her Savior with all her heart. She will be missed by her church family at the New Life Fellowship Church in Bloomington. Diane suffered many physical problems the past few years and is now dancing in the streets of glory. She will be missed and always remembered immensely by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and her family.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
