Delores M. Higdon

Delores Higdon, 81 of Streator passed away Sunday afternoon (Oct. 2nd) at her home.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  There will be no services. 

Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Delores was born on Aug. 31, 1935 in Streator to George and Cecelia (Whitney) Kennedy, Sr.

She married Clint Higdon on April 13, 1953.  He survives.

Also surviving is daughter, DeDe (William) Barickman of Streator, 3 grandchildren, Regina, Kayla and Matthew Devera and 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler Revelle, Colten Alvarado and Kayleigh and Mackenzie Devera.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Clint Devera, sisters Lila Powers and Shirley France and brothers George Kennedy Jr., and Jim Kennedy.

Delores attended Streator Grade Schools and Streator High School.  She formerly was employed at Owens Illinois Glass.
