David Novak

David Novak, 62 of Streator passed away Friday (August 14, 2026) at his home.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Friday (Aug. 21st) from 11AM until 11:30 at the St. Stephen’s Cemetery Chapel. Services will be held at 11:30 with inurnment in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.

David was born on March 29, 1965, in Streator to Fabian and Eleanore (Ross) Novak.

Surviving are sisters Dianne (Roger) Cooper of Lostant and Connie (Tim) Vilks of St. Paul, MN, sister-in-law Judi Novak of St. Paul, MN and several nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents, sister Kimberly Antolik and brother Daniel Novak.

David attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School and attended I.S.U. he was employed with Quik Kill for 30 years. Memorials may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue (IVAR) or the National Guard Armory.
