David E. Hays, 58 of Marseilles, formerly of Streator passed away Sunday (July 3rd) at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 12noon -3PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 3PM at the funeral home.
Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
David was born on Jan. 21, 1953 in Decatur, IL to Billie and Della (Tozer) Hays.
He married Jennifer L. Peek on November 21, 2009. She survives.
Surviving are children, Maria Hays of GA, Sean (Rachael) Hays of Morris, Jason (Melissa) Hays of Webcity, MO, Autum Hays ,Quentin Hays, Seth Hays, Jacob Peek, and Jaida Peek all of Streator, brothers, Paul (Ferne) Hays of Manchester NJ, and Roger Hays of Chico, CA, and sister, Dana (Skip Parker) Hays of Wickenburg, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Nicole Hays.
David graduated from Minooka High School and was a member of The First Baptist Church in Streator.
Memorials may be directed to the family of David Hays.
