David Alan Frickey

David A. Frickey, 60 of Streator passed away Saturday morning (March 23, 2024) at OSF Center for Health, Streator.  

Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.   

Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.  

David was born on February 15, 1964, in Streator to Ralph and Louise (Kollar) Frickey.

He married Louwanna Salisbury on May 22, 1992.  She survives.  

Surviving is his wife, sons, Joshua and Zachary Frickey both of Streator, 2 grandsons, Ayden David Frickey of Streator and Preston J. Frickey of Ottawa, sisters, Diane (Keith) Schmink of Springfield, and Darlene Frickey of Streator and sisters-in-law, Linda Salisbury, Debra (Ralph Scott) Salisbury and Donna (Larry) Finney all of Streator.  

David is preceded in death by his parents.  

He attended St. Mary's grade school and graduated from Streator High School 1982.  David was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.  

David served in the National Guard.  

He was formerly employed by Vactor Manufacturing and was a welder by trade.
