Daryn Christopher Kacvinsky

Daryn Christopher Kacvinsky, 24 of Mattoon and formerly of Long Point passed away Sunday (May 18, 2025) from injuries received in a auto accident.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 P.M. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. A brief service will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with burial following in the Long Point Cemetery.

Daryn was born on May 25, 2000, in Pontiac.

He is survived by his mother Randi (Kenny) Eutsey of Long Point, father Richard Kacvinsky of Grand Ridge, natural father Jeff (Amber Sharp) Wachowski of Morris, siblings, Dalton (Ashlyn Drysdale) Kacvinsky of Streator, Alexis (Austin Leiteritz) Chambers of Ottawa, Kenneth Eutsey III of Alaska, Emily Faith Wachowski, Alexandria Lynn Wachowski, Andrea Lauren Wachowski-Monferdini and Alan Lucas York, grandparents, Don (Sheri) Clift of Streator, Carol Defenbaugh of Streator, Debbie Kacvinsky of Streator, Jeff (Marcia) Wachowski of Morris and Daryl (Sue) Crow of Kentucky and his girlfriend Emma Hosey.

Daryn is preceded in death by grandparents, Richard Kacvinsky and Durelle Kacvinsky.

Daryn graduated from Woodland High School in 2018. He was employed at Pro Mow Lawn Care in Charleston, IL

Daryn loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and skiing. He had an infectious laugh and loved spending time with family and friends.
